Our Guitars
Paul:
I use a Selmer Macaferri D-Hole (grande bouche) style guitar, crafted by Loughborough-based
luthier, Dave
Hodson. The guitar is fitted with an under-bridge pickup, and standard
jack. I feed the output through a Boss equaliser pedal,
to eliminate some high-frequency peaks, and where possible, compliment this
with a microphone to give out a more genuine acoustic tone.
Roy:
I use a Selmer Macaferri Oval-hole (petite bouche) style guitar, crafted by
Lincolnshire-based Luthier, John
Le Voi. The Le Voi model is also fitted with an under-bridge pickup, and
standard jack. Again, I feed the output through a Boss equaliser pedal to
give a balanced tone and range.
